As a realtor, my maiden surname is Ferreira and for years we joked about it because our family like to move to new homes every year.  Today people in South Africa are using the saying "Vat jou goed en trek, Ferreira" to get out of South Africa. Who can blame them? Considering all the negativity that social media is pushing down our throats, crime, racism, and poverty. Sadly, people are overlooking the beautiful environment, strong foundations that have been established by families, businesses, and communities.

People are immigrating just to discover that “the grass is not greener on the other side”, longing for strong foundations, unity and different cultures that stand together and overcomes.

Is there a better solution, yes water your own lawn in South Africa, “Vat jou goed en trek”, to a home where you can make beautiful memories, continue to build strong foundation for generation to come.

Thank you to SA Birds & Wildlife for the beautiful pictures and sharing with us the beautiful places, cultures, birds and wildlife South Africa offers to make it worthwhile to stay and call her HOME.
